On 26th September we celebrated European Day of Languages. The younger classes in our school made drawings on bracelets with messages in Croatian and English. They also wrote postcards and we sent them to other schools in Europe.
The 8th graders learned about idioms of the world and noticed similarities with Croatian expressions. Have you ever heard “Like father like son” or “It’s raining cats and dogs”? Our 8th graders who attend eTwinning group created posters with idioms in Canva.
eTwinners in our school are currently working on two projects: “Single Voices, Global Choices” and “Talk to me! Parle-moi! Поговори зі мною!“. Find out more on the given links.
